Chair Tue Wenzel Kragstrup

Tue is Associate Professor (50%) in immunology and pharmacology and rheumatologist (50%) in Aarhus and Silkeborg, Denmark. The Kragstrup lab at Aarhus University focuses on inflammatory arthritis with special interest in building in vitro models and bioinformatics pipelines for drug discovery, target validation, personalized medicine and drug repurposing. The Rheumatology Sector in Silkeborg contributes actively to clinical trials and epidemiological studies involving rheumatic musculoskeletal diseases. Tue is the Chair of EMEUNET

Chair Elect Diego Benavent

Diego is a consultant rheumatologist at Hospital Universitari de Bellvitge in Barcelona and Associate Professor at the Universidad de Barcelona. Additionally, he collaborates as a Senior Medical Advisor at Savana, a company focused on artificial intelligence in medicine. Beyond his involvement in healthcare technology, his primary interests include spondyloarthritis, and patient-reported outcomes. Diego is the Chair-elect of EMEUNET.

The Sub-Committees engage in dynamic initiatives, ensuring that EMEUNET remains a vibrant and evolving platform. With a growing list of projects, EMEUNET continues to attract and inspire young rheumatologists and researchers, strengthening their involvement in education, research, and EULAR-related activities. This dedication ensures EMEUNET remains a vital and influential resource, including collaborations to maintain excellence in European rheumatology and EULAR.
