The objective of the Newsletter (NL) Sub-Committee is to facilitate the dissemination of up-to-date, relevant information within the EMEUNET community through the regular publication of newsletters.
Each year, up to 11 newsletters are disseminated, delivering the latest updates to EMEUNET and comprehensively covering all community activities, including the introduction of Sub-Committee members, Country Liaisons, and showcasing the diverse initiatives of EMEUNET Sub-Committees.
EMEUNET has continued with a periodic Press Review NL. Published quarterly, these newsletters provide a synoptic overview of recently published important rheumatology papers.

EMEUNEWS provides comprehensive coverage of major rheumatology meetings, including the ACR and EULAR Congresses, featuring key abstracts and their highlights.

All newsletters also promote upcoming educational events, courses, grant opportunities, and other initiatives relevant to the EMEUNET community.

We have also recently introduced a new section called “Tell me something interesting” where we cover topics relevant to EMEUNET community but not covered in other sections. Newsletter Sub-Committee members have shared so far their experience participating in the EULAR/ACPR/APLAR exchange programme and receiving a EULAR scientific grant, guidance on how to write a successful application to become an EMEUNET sub-committee member, and how AI can be used in systematic reviews.

With the support of the EULAR Communications team, newsletters are distributed via mass email to all EMEUNET registered members and promoted across EMEUNET social media channels. Each Sub-Committee member is responsible for coordinating at least one newsletter per year. Additionally, our editors manage the formatting of each issue using WordPress.

Over the years, the newsletters have become a cornerstone of EMEUNET’s activities, serving as a vital platform for the community’s voice. They play a key role in amplifying EMEUNET’s visibility and fostering engagement within the rheumatology community. We will continue to keep you informed with the most relevant news in rheumatology. If you have any suggestions or feedback, please feel free to email us at emeunet@eular.org!
