Past-Chair Tue Wenzel Kragstrup

Tue is Associate Professor in immunology and pharmacology and rheumatology consultant in Aarhus and Silkeborg, Denmark. His research is focused on bench-to-bedside drug discovery, personalized medicine and drug repurposing in rheumatology. Tue is the Past-Chair of EMEUNET.

EMEUNET is the largest network of early career rheumatologists and researchers in rheumatology. Its primary mission is to advance education, provide mentoring opportunities, and foster research collaborations within the community.

Across our six Sub-Committees (Education, Peer Mentoring, Newsletter, Social Media, Visibility & Global Affairs, and Country Liaisons) EMEUNET is where ideas turn into real opportunities. This is the team behind mentor–mentee meetings, postdoc and peer-review mentoring, the Ambassador programme, the EMEUNET Podcast, monthly EMEUNEWS highlights, EULAR Reporters calls, networking moments at congresses, and the pathways for young colleagues to contribute as EMEUNET representatives in EULAR task forces and committees. We keep growing because people bring energy, curiosity, and practical ideas, thanks to the Sub-Committees, which make space to turn that enthusiasm into projects that actually help peers and strengthen our connection with EULAR.

If you would like to get involved, check the open calls for Sub-Committee roles, Committee roles, and Country Liaison positions on the “Get involved” section of the EULAR website. We would genuinely love to hear what you would like to build with us!
