The EMEUNET Country Liaison (CL) Network represents one of the most vital components of our community outreach and international connectivity. Operating across 40 countries that are official scientific members of EULAR, our CLs act as national representatives and trusted bridges between EMEUNET and local young rheumatology communities. These enthusiastic young professionals foster engagement at the grassroots level by promoting EMEUNET activities, relaying national perspectives, and helping tailor EMEUNET initiatives to country-specific needs.

The CL role is dynamic and impactful. CLs serve as points of contact within their national societies and coordinate disseminating educational and professional opportunities provided by EMEUNET and EULAR. They also gather feedback and act as ambassadors for EMEUNET’s visibility through social media and events. Thanks to their work, hundreds of young rheumatologists across Europe gain direct access to EULAR’s vibrant international network and opportunities for research collaboration, training, and education.
CLs work closely with the Country Liaison Subcommittee, a dedicated team within EMEUNET that supports the CLs’ efforts through regular communication, tailored materials, and strategic planning. The Subcommittee encourages CLs to participate actively in cross-national projects and provides platforms to highlight their achievements.
